After graduating from Queensland College of Art in 1997, Michael began assisting at Ron Ratcliffe Photography. As time went on he began working as a freelance photographer using Ron Ratcliffe Photography as a base. On the 1st of January 2001, Michael became part of The Machine as junior photographer. Throughout the year he has worked with a number of Brisbane's leading agencies providing photographic solutions for a variety of clients.
